History

Once upon a time, I was a chemist, testing the stick-slip properties of a lubricating grease formulated to ensure that San Francisco's cable cars had enough grip to go uphill but not slide back down. I ran the tests, crunched the numbers, made improvements, and found the perfect solution And then I changed careers. I traded test tubes and Bunsen burners for pencils and erasers, smelly petroleum-based substances for volumes of legislative regulations, and laboratory journals for tax returns but I'm still crunching the numbers and finding the perfect solutions for my clients.

I offer a wide range of services from tax preparation to planning, from teaching to writing, from estate planning to elder-care. Indeed, I offer so many services that my mother once had difficulties pin-pointing just what it is that I do. Long ago, I overheard only Mom's side of a phone conversation with an old friend.
