History

As an ordained interfaith minister, I have worked as a chaplain at Kapiolani Women and Children's Hospital in Honolulu, HI; at John Muir Hospital in Concord, CA; and in various hospice settings. As a chaplain instructor, I have taught at the Chaplaincy Institute and the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, CA. I bring a deep understanding of the transformative power of birth, death, marriage, and other life events, including challenges and crises in communities and organizations.

As an ordained interfaith minister, I can help you cultivate deeper connections to your individual and communal beliefs and your intentions for your work together. I support individuals, families and organizations through the changes of life. Human initiations like marriage, birth, and death provide opportunities for deep transformation and healing. Organizations also encounter these opportunities for transformation in their founding, in their evolution, and in their completion. As a former hospital and hospice chaplain, I provide education and consultation on spiritual and medical processes, both at home and in health care settings. As a chaplain educator, I provide support to organizations at the cutting edge of health care and interfaith spirituality. I hope that we can bring these important fields together in deeper and deeper ways.
