History

Julie Simmons-Mazzetti CD, CLEC is a mother, educator, full-spectrum doula and student midwife serving Southern California. Her work centers on providing access, education and culturally competent support while navigating reproductive choices. She is a trans- and queer-affirming practitioner and serves Native families throughout the various reservations of San Diego and Riverside counties. It is very important for her to offer fees on a sliding scale; everyone deserves support despite income restraints. Julie fuses her love of California native plants and birth work. In her free time, you can find her tending to her plants or learning a new craft.
