Mizell Center is a nondenominational community-based organization that has been serving the Coachella Valley senior community for over 50 years, welcoming more than 60,000 visitors annually. With over 60 weekly activities, Mizell offers programs tailored to support independence, lifelong learning, and a healthy lifestyle for individuals across a broad socioeconomic spectrum.
As the sole Meals on Wheels provider in the Coachella Valley, Mizell prepares and delivers approximately 700 nutritious meals each weekday to homebound seniors and social dining sites at multiple locations. The center also provides a variety of volunteer opportunities, encouraging community involvement and support for its essential programs and services.
