This cave is about 1.5 mike trek. It is paved and super easy to walk through. We have a 3 and 5 year old. If you have an antsy kid make sure you put them in a backpack or ergo! These caves are so...

This is a great cave .We did the tour the first weekend it was reopened .If you have the time it's worth going on the tour . Plenty of camp grounds in the area .

As of 5/22/17, sadly, Mitchell Caverns is still closed due to infrastructure repairs. No set date for reopening.
