History

This nonprofit through which we offer counseling services grew out of the need to offer valuable and much needed help to people with budgetary constraints and limited financial income.

Specialties

Our team of clinical therapists, Dr. Ira Lake, Courtney (LMFT), Jennifer (Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor), and Veronica (MFT), offer marriage, family, individual, and group counseling. Our counseling specialties are: Grief & Bereavement, Childhood Trauma PTSD Depression Anger Management (using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Life Transitions, Anxiety & Stress Premarital Counseling Children/Teens Substance use disorder treatment (individual or group) Behavioral addiction treatment (individual or group) Sex offender treatment (individual or group) We are out of network providers with insurance companies, which means that we do not bill insurance companies directly. Your counseling services may be eligible for reimbursement through out-of-network benefits, medical spending or health care savings accounts. Health insurance plans and benefits vary. Check with your insurance provider about reimbursement for your counseling services. Imtasik Family Counseling Services offers a Low-Cost Fee Discount Program to all who have limited means to pay for their services. Imtasik Family Counseling Services will base program eligibility on a person's ability to pay and will not discriminate on the basis of age, gender, race, sexual orientation, creed, religion, disability, or national origin. Remember, good marriage counseling is cheap, divorce is expensive.
