Mission Physical Therapy Group

History

In 1974, Richard Diel PT moved to northern San Luis Obispo county and began North County Physical Therapy (NCPT), contracting physical therapy services with local hospitals. In the early 1980's, NCPT established itself as an outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Paso Robles, and a few years later in Atascadero. In 2002, long time NCPT physical therapist, Mary Ann Burke MSPT, GCS, became a managing partner and ultimately became sole owner after Rick's retirement. In 2015, NCPT merged with Creekside Physical Therapy in San Luis Obispo to form Mission Physical Therapy Group. We are dedicated to providing caring and effective physical therapy services to our community.

Specialties

Mission Physical Therapy Group specializes in helping clients return to a high level of pain free function. our physical therapy services include but are not limited to post-operative orthopedics, back & neck pain, foot & ankle pain, balance & fall prevention, stroke, dizziness, sports medicine, sport performance training, shoulder dysfunction, headache, arthritis and wound care. While all of our PTs are well trained in general orthopedics & neurological skills, each PT has a specialy that ensures our patients get the best possible care.
