Located on the border of Loma Linda and Redlands, Mission Elementary School has a rich history dating back to 1854. After being repurposed for developmentally disabled students and adults, the campus reopened in 2011 and is undergoing renovations to modernize its facilities.

The first phase of renovations included nine classrooms, a multi-purpose room, and a computer lab, with plans for a library, amphitheater, and permanent cafeteria in the second phase. Serving primarily students from Loma Linda, Mission Elementary School is a symbol of revitalization and progress in the community.
