History

I began my Marriage and Family Therapy internship in 1990. I have been seeing adults, teens, couples and families ever since. I have a busy and fulfilling practice, dealing with the varied issues and difficulties that my clients bring in to discuss and resolve. In addition, I have taught numerous parenting classes to parents of children 1-6 or 7-11,classes that are incredibly helpful in guiding parents to treat children with respect, consistency and appropriate communication and consequences. I now work 2 days in my office seeing fully vaccinated clients and the rest of the time doing phone and teletherapy from home.

Specialties

I have worked, for many years, with a great number of individuals and couples dealing with painful emotions, difficult life circumstances, problems with their partners or family members, and resolving early, traumatic events in their lives. I feel that it is vital to offer everyone a safe, empathetic place for them to discuss their issues and feel that they are being listened to and helped in a respectful, caring and effective way. My approach is personal, realistic and direct.
