Rosemary Mickey family founded Mickey's Pet Stop in 1984, and Mickey's Lauder-mutt the grooming side of the business. After 22 years at the same location and the death of Bil Mickey, Rosemary's husband, the company was relocated from the 11357 Donner Pass Rd, now called Pet Station, which is an interesting take on our name and no relationship to Mickey's. To our current location 10986 Donner Pass Rd. Mickey's is now a non- Profit 501 (c) (3) Educational school teaching pet grooming. We were contact by the California Vocational Rehabilitation Dept, and California One Stop to teach because of or longevity and knowledge of the pet grooming business and this is how Mickey's school began. Mickey's is putting people back to work. Student loans, Grants, are available to new students to learn a career..
