History

Yami and Mickey attended acupuncture school together and have been practicing acupuncture since 2003.

The majority of our work is dedicated to treating pain conditions such as back/neck pain, headaches/migraines, shoulder/elbow/wrist pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, knee/foot pain, abdominal pain, and abnormally painful menstruation. Additionally, we find acupuncture to be very effective for people who suffer from anxiety, depression, or insomnia. Yami sees many patients with menopausal symptoms, and has helped couples overcome infertility. Both Yami and Mickey have used acupuncture to stimulate labor in overdue pregnant mothers. Other ailments they have helped people with include asthma and Bell's Palsy. Many patients ask about weight loss. Our approach is to reduce the pain that prevents free activity, and to satisfy (with acupuncture) the emotional factors that are usually satisfied by anxious eating.
