Michelle Thi Cao, MD - Stanford Health-Home Assisted Ventilation Program

Dr. Michelle Cao is board certified in pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. Dr. Cao's clinical expertise includes home assisted ventilation for chronic respiratory failure, complex sleep related breathing disorders, and obstructive/central sleep apnea.

Addie Peretz, MD, is a board certified Neurologist and a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology & Neurological Sciences. Her clinical interests focus on the diagnosis and treatment of headache and facial pain conditions. She is involved in medical education, and received the Robert S. Fisher Teaching Award for excellence in Neurology resident teaching of Stanford medical students. Her research interests include understanding the biological underpinnings of migraine and chronic daily headaches. She also participates in clinical trials of new headache treatments.

Dr. Capasso is the Chief of Sleep Surgery, Professor of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, Associate Dean of Research at Stanford University School of Medicine and Advisor to the Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign. His medical training includes Head and Neck Surgery, Neurosciences and Sleep Medicine. He has done research and published extensively on pre-treatment evaluation and surgical treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and currently his research interests have a focus on clinical utilization of large datasets and consumer-based devices for sleep disordered breathing management.
