Michelle Daniel, MD, MHPE, FACEP is a highly experienced emergency medicine physician based in La Jolla, CA. With a compassionate and empathetic approach, Dr. Daniel provides comprehensive care for urgent and emergent medical conditions, treating each patient with the same level of care she would want for her own loved ones. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Daniel serves as Vice Dean for Medical Education at UC San Diego, where she leads various medical education programs and instructs medical students, residents, and fellows.

Dr. Daniel's expertise in medical education is evident through her research interests in cognition theories, diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making, and systematic reviews. Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, she practiced emergency medicine at Michigan Medicine and held a faculty position at the University of Michigan Medical School.
