History

Dr. McQuillan first opened his practice on St. Patrick's Day in 1980 and has been serving the greater Ventura County area including Camarillo, Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Ventura, Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, Ojai, Newbury Park, and surrounding areas ever since. Dr. McQuillan also serves on the Board of Directors of the Heart of Hope Ministry. It is through this organization which he annually volunteers a week in Romania treating poor villagers and orphans.

At Michael McQuillan, OD, we've created an eyecare office where patients feel welcome and taken care of. Founded in 1980, we've been treating infants, adults, and seniors of Ventura County. Our high-tech office is equipped to provide a wide range of services including comprehensive diagnostic testing, which allows us to give patients the most personalized care possible. Our optometry staff is fluent in English and Spanish, making our office inclusive and inviting. We love what we do and take pride in helping people live their lives comfortably because we truly care about people, not just their eyes.
