Originally opened in 2005. Mi Casita was finally taking of and they were building a small customer base. Unfortunately three years ago the restaurant burned down and the owner, Jesus Gonzalez, and his son started all over again and went through the entire process once more. They had the plans they wanted and started on their own with a couple of good friends helping along the way. From struggles with the city and the troubles of going through three different architects, they themselves: installed all the plumbing, built half the restaurant's stuff with their own two hands and laid down each individual tile. Now reopened and remodeled they have been off to a good start since their grand opening on May 27th. New hours, new specials, same great food!

The food and service is always great. No complaints. The restaurant is decorated with nice pictures and pottery from Mexico which makes it a relaxing surroundings while eating.
