Metropolitan Education District

Metropolitan Education District is a career-oriented educational organization in California comprising high school and adult occupational, academic and community programs. The district annually provides instruction to more than 50,000 diverse students. It offers a variety of classes for adult students through the Central County Occupational Center. Through its Metropolitan Adult Education Program, which is approved by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, the district provides adult education classes for free or at a very low cost. It is an approved local education agency and a member of the Credentialing Services Consortium.
