Metro Gateway Child Development Center is under new management as of August 1st, 2012. Metro Gateway Child Development Center is now run by Around the Korner Child Care Centers. Around the Korner opened its first school in 1989 in the San Fernando Valley. Around the Korner now has six schools servicing families with children from birth to 5 years old.

Metro Gateway Child Development Center is a non-profit organization specializing in early childhood education, for children birth through five years of age. Optimum opportunities for learning and personal growth will be provided for children, parents and staff in a safe, and culturally relevant environment. Strong partnerships between the home, school and community will promote enrich and enhance the quality of life and ultimately produce self-reliance. This is accomplished with low NAEYC recommended ratios.
