I've only ever tried their bakery items so my review will be based on that. I have seen that they offer savory breakfast and lunch items so I'm definitely going to have to try that...

Merengue is located in Old Town Monrovia, a block from Library Park. There is a bear statue right out front the is decorated with the store's theming. There's a menu you can order drinks and food...

I always love stopping by this place. Merengue is a sweet, reliable, fresh made bakery right in downtown. My family and I exclusively buy all our birthdays cakes here and they're all delicious....

One of my favorites for bakery goods while in the area. Locally prepared breads, pastries, pies and cakes. Everything I've tried was delicious

This place is busy on weekends but the staff gets through the line quickly. I like to grab a classic cortadito here. The staff will always inform you that it is a 3oz cup. Cortadito- 10/10...
