Sisters of Mercy - Burlingame Regional Community consists of more than 170 sisters and over 120 associates. Located in Burlingame, Calif., the community s facility is spread over an area of more than 40 acres and includes a bookstore, care center, high school, mansion and motherhouse. Its mercy center offers educational and spiritual conferences, retreats, workshops and training programs. The community s high school is a catholic, college-preparatory school for young women. It has an enrolment of more than 450 women and employs a staff of over 40 teachers. The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and is affiliated with the National Catholic Education Association and the Mercy Secondary Schools. Additionally, the Sisters of Mercy - Burlingame Regional Community operates several ministries, such as health, spirituality, elderly and housing.
