Founded in 1986, we have evolved from a traditional daytime practice to a full service facility. Due to the need for an after hours critical care facility in the area, we added emergency services in 2007. At this time, ER services are variable depending on doctor availability to Merced. When we do have an Emergency Care Veterinarian on site, we also offer urgent care exams for the people and pets of Merced, Mariposa, Atwater, Los Banos, Chowchilla, Madera, Yosemite, Le Grand, Planada and the surrounding communities. Animal Medical Center is a full service veterinary hospital that provides general practice services including routine preventative medical care for healthy pets. Additionally, we provide critical care for sick or injured pets in the Merced, California area. Our highly trained veterinarians and technicians can handle most pet emergencies, from a small laceration to major trauma. Your pet will receive treatment including monitoring and pain management.
