Menefee's Mutts

History

We started small in 2006, assisting at the free sterilization campaigns, supported by veterinarins on both sides of the border. Over the years, we've worked closely with other groups, such as Give Some Life, United Hope for Animals, Baja Dog Rescue. We are still closely affiliated with Miracle Dog Rescue. We are also very grateful to the Petco Foundation for all the support they have provided since we started going every week to their Chula Vista store at 304 E. H St., in the Terranova Center.

Specialties

Menefee's Mutts rescues homeless or unwanted dogs and puppies in Rosarito, Mexico. We then give them any emergency medical treatment, including spay or neuter, vaccinations, treatments for injuries, skin conditions, internal parasites. They live in our homes, play with our own dogs, learn that the world isn't really the awful place they were born into. We then take them to Unleashed by Petco, in Chula Vista, CA, where we allow them to experience the joy of finding their very own loving family. Come by some Sunday and see for yourself!
