MPIC is a nonprofit employment and training resource center that provides a range of services and programs. Its partners include the Goodwill Industries Workforce Development Division, Mayacama Employment Service, CalWORKS Mental Health, Economic Development & Financing Corporation and West Company. MPIC offers vocational assessment, computerized-tutorial programs, and internship job, basic skills and work readiness training programs for youth. The Mendocino County Youth Project offers individual, family and group counseling through licensed therapists and interns. It administers a child abuse treatment program that includes professional therapy and support services for children and youths affected by neglect, domestic violence, physical and sexual abuse.
