History
I have always been drawn to photographing people as a means of expressing emotion and as an exploration of beauty and fantasy. It is the collaboration between the model and artist that makes an image come to life and I live for those connections. Although, I have been photographing for 25 years, Memento Moda is a fairly new project of mine. It evolved out of my passion for portraiture, design and vintage aesthetic. I am nostalgic of the days of glamorous portrait studios and want to bring that quality back into the modern world with my traveling portrait studio. I set up unique portrait booths, which I build by hand, in event spaces and photograph guests interacting in the set. All with gorgeous studio lighting and one of a kind props. It's like a photo booth only way better.
