Melody Academy of Music

History

Melody Academy of Music (MAM) was established by Ms. Melody Wu in 1998 with a mission dedicated to fostering a fun and educational experience while children learn music. Ms. Melody Wu started her piano teaching career in 1992 in the graduate housing apartment at Stanford Hoskin Highrise. At the time, she realized the importance of early music training in group lesson for young children before their one-on-one classes. She then established MAM studio in 1998 in Cupertino with a curriculum especially designed for young children. After receiving positive responses from many satisfied parents, she subsequently established MAM studios in Fremont and Palo Alto. Since then, MAM has grown into one of the largest music institutes in Bay Area with more than 300 students enrolled every year. The cities of Belmont, Cupertino, Fremont, Foster City, Los Altos, Los Gatos, Menlo Park, Milpitas, Palo Alto, San Carlos, Saratoga, Sunnyvale, and Union City have collaborated with MAM.

Specialties

Melody Academy of Music has been in the Bay Area for 20 years. MAM specializes in Music education for children age 3 and up. We offer Toddler classes, beginner group piano age 4~5 and 5~7, Group violin, Group Flute, Group guitar and Group Ukulele classes. 1 on 1 private is also available of all instruments above. Furthermore, since 2001, our classes are listed in the city recreation activity guides of Palo Alto, Cupertino, Saratoga, Fremont, Milpitas, Los Altos, Los Gatos, Sunnyvale, and Union City. If your city has our classes in the activity guide, you can register with them too! MAM has strong team with well-educated/ trained teachers and well-developed curriculum, which will provide the best music education to you children. MAM is your best choice ever!
