Established in April 1977, we are celebrating our 32nd year in business. Offering great food and spirits, a friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, and ample parking ( a real treat on Park Street ) McGee's is a favorite stop for locals and visitors alike. Our grill is open for lunch and dinner daily with a menu that offers something for everyone. We also serve Sunday brunch with such delights as Eggs Benedict, Steak & Eggs, Omellettes of your choice, and much more. Have a Sunday brunch drink like a Mimosa or Bloody Mary made to perfection or maybe a tasty Vanilla Fizz. And, with full sports coverage, McGee's is the place to meet and catch your favorite sporting event! We have been voted one of the Top 3 Kid-Friendly Restaurants by Alameda Magazine readers. We are proud to promote that our establishment is a family affair. Tim Goodman a favorite among our customers - has been our General Manager for 15 years. Jose, our very friendly & accommodating chef in the grill has been with us for 28 years. Today, Jose's brother-in-law Francisco and son Manny, who was practically raised at McGee's, join together in operating the grill. Our bartenders: Brian, Glen, Shelly & Renee work very hard to keep our patrons happy by carefully making them the drinks of their choice. Brian was voted Best Bartender by Alameda Magazine in 2006. Our regulars often find their favorite spirit already being poured for them as they take a seat at the bar.
