The Data Processing Joint Powers Authority (DPJPA) was established on August 2, 1982, to deliver data processing services to the San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) and local school districts within the county. With a focus on enhancing educational capabilities through technology, the DPJPA plays a vital role in supporting educational institutions in their administrative and operational needs.

The organization offers a range of services, including resources, tips, and policies related to data processing and security. Additionally, the DPJPA provides guidance on recommended hardware and staff email account management, ensuring that educational entities are well-equipped to handle their data processing requirements.
