History

Max Speed Transmission first opened on October 2001 at our first location on Jefferson and Wellington Rd, unfortunately the city bought the lot out and we moved to our current location which is the only location we have at the moment. We did have a second location as well on Jefferson and 8th Ave but closed it down and took over the complete lot here on 48th and Arlington. We have been in Business for 17 years mainly servicing the Hyde Park/ Baldwin Hills area but we have customers from all over the Los Angeles area. We are transmission specialists that can help you out with anything from a rebuild, transmission service, transmission flush, swaps and any other transmission problem you can think of.

Specialties

We specialize in Transmission rebuilds most work comes with a warranty of one year or 12,000 miles whichever comes first. Differential work is also done here We also offer general mechanic services like brake change, tune ups, water pumps, fuel pumps, AC service etc.
