The Little Ethiopia Cultural Resource Center (LECRC) is dedicated to enhancing the social, economic, and cultural well-being of the Ethiopian community and others in the Greater Los Angeles area. Through its comprehensive community development strategy, the center focuses on advocacy, self-sufficiency, economic development, cultural education, and neighborhood empowerment.
In addition to offering classes and workshops in Amharic, cultural dance, art, and cooking, LECRC is establishing the Ethiopian American Museum to celebrate and preserve Ethiopian American culture and history. With a mission to foster understanding and appreciation of Ethiopian heritage, the center aims to build community relationships and develop a rich collection of artifacts and stories.
