History
Marty Knapp Photo Gallery started in 1993 when Marty hosted a number of holiday open studio events at his home studio in Olema, California. In 2000 he opened his storefront gallery on Highway One in Point Reyes Station, California which has been open continuously since. Marty's photography spans the evolution of image making from traditional film and large format cameras to today's digital technology. His award-winning photographs are prized by collectors of classic black and white photography. Marty's current work explores the wonders of the night sky as well as light and form in the extreme close-up views of nature in the macro world.
