Great stop! You could spend between 1 hr to days here! A cute museum, across the street is sutters mill, many things to see within 1 mile! Great!!

A great picnic area. Lots of kayakers, wading in the river and families picnicking and walking. $10 per car. Lots of parking, picnic tables, bathrooms, life jacket loans. A great spot.

A nice park with all the standard amenities, an interactive area where they teach folk how to pan for gold, then an area where they can go try it for themselves! Pretty cool. :)
