The Marlin Club, located in Avalon on Santa Catalina Island, is the oldest bar in the area, with a legacy of serving drinks and fun for over 75 years. Built by Merchant Marines during World War II to resemble the bow of a classic boat, its interior features a beautiful underwater seascape mural painted in the Art Deco style by local artist Bud Upton.
