Mark Twain Elementary School

Mark Twain Elementary School is a part of the Lawndale Elementary School District. The school serves approximately 400 students in kindergarten through grade six. It offers English, language arts, mathematics, science, social science, technology and physical education programs. Mark Twain Elementary School supports a parent-teacher association, school site council and family nights. The school employs subject teachers, intervention specialists, psychologists, guidance counselors, nurses and occupational therapists. It additionally provides Title 1 and before- and after-school programs. Mark Twain Elementary School also offers special education programs to support children with learning and physical disabilities. The school is located in Lawndale, Calif.
