Long Beach Container Terminal (LBCT LLC), a portfolio company of Macquarie Asset Management located in the Port of Long Beach since 1980, has a storied history as a leader in dedicated container handling expertise. As a result, in partnership with the Port, we are currently involved in the final stages of expanding and developing of a new state-of-the-art facility combining two aging container terminals into one of the world's most technologically advanced and greenest facilities in the world. The project, commonly referred to as the Middle Harbor Redevelopment Project is the largest of its kind in North America. When completed, LBCT will have cut air pollution in excess of 80%, significantly reducing environmental impacts, improve air quality, and create a safer work environment for our employees. Additionally, LBCT will have the ability to handle in excess of 3.5 million TEUs, along with servicing the largest container vessels in the world, without growing our environmental footprint. In 1852, at the height of the California Gold Rush, California Stevedore and Ballast Company was conceived by two Danish sea captains in San Francisco by the names of Eschen and Minor. The growth along the West Coast in the late 1800s, led to the formation of a second company called Metropolitan Stevedore Company in 1923. A cargo handler, the company s operations are divided into the categories of bulk, break bulk, cruise, fruit, auto, container, terminal and special cargo. Metropolitan Stevedore Company is headquartered in Wilmington, Calif.

Founded in 1987, TraPac is one of the leading container terminal operators and vessel stevedores in the United States. The company offers port terminal services to the West Coast from the ports of Oakland, Los Angeles and Jacksonville. Its clients include CSAV, APL Limited, China Shipping Lines and Merchant Marine Company. TraPac is a part of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Limited.
