The Marina Small Craft Harbor, also known as the San Francisco Marina, is a renowned destination for boaters worldwide. With a history dating back to before the 1906 earthquake, it is the oldest recreational marina in San Francisco and one of the oldest in the Greater Bay Area. Spanning approximately 35 acres, the marina offers 727 berths, including guest berthing for vessels up to 90 feet LOA, along with convenient amenities such as free pump out stations and a commercial fuel dock. Adjacent to the marina is the popular Marina Green park, which hosts various events and features workout stations for fitness enthusiasts.
Managed by the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department, the Marina Small Craft Harbor is part of a larger network of over 220 parks, playgrounds, and open spaces throughout the city. The department is responsible for iconic landmarks like Golden Gate Park, Coit Tower, and the San Francisco Zoo. With a commitment to increasing and improving parkland, San Francisco became the first city in the nation where all residents have access to a park within a 10-minute walk. The Marina Small Craft Harbor is a testament to the city's dedication to providing exceptional recreational opportunities for people of all ages.

What a great place in the Marina District to hang out at!!! Right on the Bay, super wide sidewalks, always lively on sunny days!! Awesome views, not far from some famous SF landmarks and...
Beautiful location. Direct view of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Lots of people out and about jogging, walking, biking. Lovely there
We absolutely love walking in this area on a cool day. In the summer it can be hot as there is not a lot of shade, but the views are incredible and the park area, so nice. Bring a picnic !
