History

Marilyn Delao began her real estate career as an assistant to a boutique hotel developer in New York City before breaking out on her own to sell and lease commercial properties in Manhattan. Though her primary focus was on loft and building sales, she also found office space for the frenzied, 1990's, dotcom companies, and assisted in the migration of the Contemporary Art Scene from Soho to Chelsea. It was a busy and exciting time to be in New York City and the perfect education for a broad and varied real estate career. After the tragedy of the 9/11 attacks, Marilyn felt the need to be near her family back in Southern California. Upon her return to California her real estate career took off again with over $95 million in homes sales to date. She attributes her immediate and overwhelming success in Southern California to the rich tools and negotiating experience she acquired while navigating her way through the challenging New York City real estate market.
