Daniele and Emi started Marcopoloni when we got tired of being marketed cheap imitation products at prices just shy of the real thing. When we saw that pair of cheaply made leather book ends with an Italian name on the packaging we set out to offer the real thing: something inspiring, made by skilled artisans who are passionate about their work and pour their souls into what they make. We specialize in finding artisans who do just that and in communicating the value of their creations to those customers who, like us, want to have a more personal and lasting connection with the products they buy. This quest has lead us to selecting a dozen artisans from Italy, Japan, and New Zealand with whom we have developed close ties and whose work we can guarantee as authentic. Our offering varies from Italian leather bags and accessories to artistic Murano glass or from Japanese Koito pottery to paua jewelry from New Zealand. Every product has a story and strictly handmade.
