Founded in 1850, the Manteca Historical Society is a nonprofit organization that provides local historical artifacts and information. Fantastic local museum! Free admission and docents are available to give you a tour of the different exhibits. Definitely a place you check out if you're interested in local history.

Janet was absolutely amazing. She was great at explaining and giving us visual picture of everything. I recommend people coming here specially new people to the area.
