History

Manila Forwarder was established in 1998 at an apartment in Eagle Rock Blvd in Los Angeles, CA. by the father and son team, Russ and Manny Paez. The company provided a better alternative to the market by offering a bigger and stronger box, called jumbo box, compared to the balikbayan box known to the market at that time. The company also offered internet portals where clients can interact with the company using the internet by it's box request and pick up, online tracking, among others. Manila Forwarder also introduced the security seal, strap, and plastic wrap to all boxes bound to Visayas & Mindanao. In 1999, the company moved to a commercial address in Eagle Rock and In 2000, they temporarily moved the office in Atwater Village while preparing the new Eagle Rock location as a central hub for their nationwide operations which became operational in 2001. In 2012, Manila Forwarder relocated it's main operations in Northridge and opened this Sta Monica outlet.
