Look, I never actually took the course, but if they teach their reading comprehension section here like they do in their Manhattan prep LSAT RC 4th edition book, then it is definitely a necessary...

History
Our flexible, rigorous curriculum was first conceptualized in 2008 by two of our premier Manhattan LSAT teachers, Mike Kim and Dan Gonzalez. They saw a need in the market for a LSAT preparation option that wasn't based on tips or tricks and that helped prepare students for top-tier success on the LSAT. Since then, we have been running our LSAT prep courses across the country and empowering many students with our strategies, resulting in considerable score gains on the LSAT. Our headquarters is based in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City, NY.

Manhattan LSAT focuses on bringing the most well-developed LSAT curriculum taught by 99th percentile teachers to students who are looking for an elite test preparation experience.
