Mammoth ski area always gets a good amount of snow early season. There's snow is a bit wetter than Utah's.. but the terrain are amazing! They could improve on the food... most of the mountain...

First time skiing at this resort and absolutely loved it. It helped also that this has been a season with tons of snow. We were there for a week and it snowed for a whole day on the second day...
