History

Mahogany Roots was formed in 2010 to offer high-quality natural hair and skin care products at a fraction of the cost as an alternative to the commercial products that are loaded with harsh chemical and harmful preservatives. Finding very few natural and organic options to choose from that were actually free of harsh preservatives and chemicals, the CEO/Alchemist, La Tronda Lumpkins decided to share with the world the secret to her own beautiful and healthy hair and skin. La Tronda believed by sharing the benefits of using products infuses with plant extracts, healing hydrosols, vitamin enriched fixed oils and luscious butters the customers deserve products of superior quality at a low price point that also has benefits to their health, community and environment.

In 2013 Mahogany Roots began providing and array of health & beauty services to enhance the quality of life of their customers now making them clients. Services include natural hair care and styling, Trichology Services (prevention & treatment of hair/scalp problems) as well as an array of Holistic Health Services which focuses on the whole person addressing the mind, body & spirit using energy healing, herbal remedies and nutrition as the catalyst.
