Machida Karate is a unique martial arts style based on traditional Karate, with the adaptation that the Machida Family did to become a efficient self-defense system for life and combat situation. Karate lost its roots during its history to be focus on competition, losing the efficiency in real fight. Machida family has develop their own unique Karate style that is efficient in real fight, such as MMA and also in life situation. In addition, the kids program has a Educational System, in order to teach values life-time values to the kids.

Machida Karate Academy teaches Karate, self-defense, and lifetime values, such as respect, discipline, focus, and confidence. Lyoto Machida, former UFC champion, and his brother Chinzo Machida, pro Bellator MMA fighter, are the senseis at the Machida Karate Academy, teaching the Machida Karate style for self-defense and real fight situation.
