After reading the reviews, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. We stayed at Hotel Dena over a hot SoCal weekend to chill at the pool and were too lazy to walk/drive for breakfast elsewhere....

Don't go for lunch. No one was there to seat us. Once we had service, she was not friendly or helpful. Over charged for mediocre food.
