History

Luzonica was started in Sonoma County, California with the mission of promoting appreciation, understanding and conservation of birds. Unlike many other bird eduction programs, Luzonica includes more than just raptors. Our educational ambassadors include songbirds, waterbirds, gamebirds and also hawks and owls. Luzonica moved to Ojai, California in 2005.

Specialties

Luzonica, Birds of the World, is dedicated to promoting Understanding, Appreciation and Conservation of all birds. Our organization is focused on education, bringing live birds from around the world into classrooms and to educational events. If you are a non-profit or part of the public school system in Ventura County, Luzonica can often come visit your organization for free. Ask about our miniature chickens! While you can't touch our hawks or owls, you can pet our soft, friendly miniature chickens!
