Lucille Mauzy School

Mauzy School serves developmentally disabled students in the age group of 3 to 22. The school s staff includes therapists, nurses, psychologists, and behavior and augmentative communication specialists. Its central county regional special education program offers day classes and resource services to students with visual impairments. The school also provides materials in Braille and large print to visually impaired students. In addition, its campus has a medical therapy unit. Mauzy School has an active parent-teacher organization that offers funding for classroom equipment and materials. It also offers speech and occupational therapies. The school is located in Alamo, Calif.
