Welcome to Flight Research, Inc Flight Research, Inc leads the industry in innovative flight test solutions. Whether your project is aircraft or weapons related, from systems certification, to STC certification to aircraft type certification, nobody does flight test better than we do. We can design and implement a comprehensive flight test program for your aircraft, or we can test your product or equipment on our aircraft, which range from small general aviation aircraft to helicopters to supersonic fighters. Flight Research was founded in 1981 in Mojave, California, to meet the growing need for private-sector specialists in flight test design and implementation. Besides the various services we offer commercially, we also supply aircraft and technical services to our sister organization, the National Test Pilot School. We are very proud of our reputation as an on-time, cost-effective, customer support-oriented organization. FRI's staff has extensive experience in flight-testing new and modified aircraft. Our flight test services have included specialized single flights required by customers, to STC projects, to full FAA certification. FRI's engineering staff includes: Many of our engineers are also FAA DER's in their respective fields. Our maintenance team of experienced airframe and powerplant mechanics, avionics, electronics and instrumentation technicians, structure and sheet metal people very well complements our engineering staff.
