Love Our Children, Inc. (LOC), situated in Monrovia, CA, extends a helping hand to at-risk, economically disadvantaged, and under-served children, families, and individuals in Southern California communities. Founded by Betty Walton, affectionately known as Mama Betty, LOC is run entirely by a devoted team of volunteers.

The heart of their operation lies in the Food Pantry, where families receive essential staples weekly, enough to sustain a family of 3 to 4 members. In addition to the basics, fresh or frozen meat, produce, coffee, toiletries, and treats are offered, based on availability. This vital program is sustained through food drives, private and corporate donations, and partnerships with other food banks.

Annually, LOC hosts a Back-to-School Bash, equipping school-age children with backpacks and essential school supplies to kick off the academic year positively. This initiative is made possible through generous donations from individuals and businesses, ensuring no child misses out on the tools they need to succeed. Furthermore, through holiday programs like the Thanksgiving turkey drive and the festive toy drive, LOC brightens the holidays for disadvantaged children and families by providing essential resources and thoughtful gifts, fostering joy during the festive season.
