Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation

Established in 1886, the Los Angeles Fire Department provides a range of fire safety and prevention programs. Located in Los Angeles, it offers emergency medical care, technical rescue, hazardous materials mitigation, disaster response and public education services. The department additionally provides risk management, in-service training, and fire inspection and investigation services. It operates more than 100 fire stations throughout the City of Los Angeles and has a staff of over 3,586 uniformed personnel.
