One of the city departments of California, Gardena Fire Department has been operational for more than 85 years. The department also handles fire code enforcements, plan checks, complaint follow-ups, safety education classes, emergency management, and disaster preparedness services. Located in Gardena, Calif., it employs more than 95 professional volunteer and career firefighters. Additionally, Gardena Fire Department provides fire protection to more than 15 million-square-feet of residential and commercial properties.
