Great adobada de res!!! Marinated beef. It's so Damn good. About $2.99-$3.99 a pound. Get it it's worth the taste. Fresh mexican cheese. I've tried to find good carne asada around Escondido but...

History
Lopez Market established its roots in 1954 the first store opened in Escondido, CA on 201 S. Pine Street in Escondido, California. Since then Lopez Market has become a staple in Escondido and now in Temecula, California. Although the original store is no longer there the names lives on in a new store on El Norte Parkway in Escondido. The second store is located in Temecula, California Front Street in Old Town.

Small little shop in a beat down strip mall right off centre city parkway. A co worker told me about this about this place . It's been a few years since I have made it back, don't really get up...

The store has the essentials not a big selection, but if you're stuck at a wrestling match and need to restock the snacks... this is the place to go. There is a little of everything and it's not...
